Adopt a Golden Atlanta …. way cool!

My all-time favorite Golden site is the one for Adopt a Golden Atlanta. It is simply adorable and just too clever for words. With my having over 1000 pages at our foundation’s site, it would be impossible for me to have such a setup. But, it is so cool for those who have smaller sites. There is no mention of who designed the site, though.

The rescue is pretty tech-savvy and upload videos to youtube of some of their rescue orphans, as they refer to them. This is their September Orphan of the Month.Stormy is a male Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees mix who is estimated to be between three and four years old. He comes to Adopt A Golden Atlanta from a goat farm where his owner decided he didn’t want him anymore. He is doing great at his foster home and can’t wait find a forever family. Watch to see him playing around in the yard with foster family in Suwanee, GA.

  1. Thank you for mentioning Adopt a Golden Atlanta! I have voluteered with them over the past few years and found a new best friend for my 5 y/o golden Lucy through their organization. Abby, who is 4 y/o loves her sister Lucy and they are like two peas in a pod!

  2. I adopted a pair of Golden Retrievers through AGA in early 2007 and I can say from personal experience that their organization is just as polished as their website. AGA is very well organized and well run and tirelessly dedicated to giving these beautiful creatures the best life possible. They understand their orphans inside and out and do a wonderful job of matching you with a dog (or dogs:-) best suited for you and your situation. And their website is really neat too. The graphics and animation alone are worth a visit. While you’re there, check out the Sparkles book about a rescued Golden Retriever, I give it 2 thumbs up.
