It is always wonderful to hear stories like these.
After two days of searching and crying for her silky haired golden retriever, Teri Shannon knew all she wanted for Christmas was her gentle pet Ben. Ben already has a pile of squeaky toys in his stocking.
After wandering away in a snowstorm Sunday, Ben was returned to Shannon’s Somerset Township home Tuesday afternoon for a tearful reunion.

A cat is nursing a puppy near the town of Mamurras, 50 km (31 miles) from Tirana, May 24, 2007. The cat, which had lost her kitten, started caring for the puppies after their mother was killed by a car.
Sacha was pulled from an icy creek (wet but little the worse for wear) by her 80-year-old dad. That’s awful impressive. I cannot imagine my being able to do that.
