The number 11 Life Path has the connotation of illumination describing its general focus. This is the number associated with spiritual awareness. As one of the two master numbers, 11 vibrations yield understanding and knowledge beyond the grasp of others. Aries was a very sweet and adorable dog. Evan Horowitz took her everywhere he went on Center — meetings, labs, everywhere. He did a fantastic job of socializing her. He worked hard at it. On many days, you could see the two of them strolling down Langley Blvd. (i.e., the main street through NASA Langley) at lunch.

Aries returned to Michigan in early 2008. I don’t have any more current information on her status, but I’d bet she’s doing wonderful.

And, thanks for doing the wonderful job you do of training these wonderful souls, who do so much to brighten so many lives.

It may interest you to know Annie started seeing patients last week and is doing beautifully! She’s a good girl and is helping a lot of patients and their families. A follow up article was done in the Richmond Register on Monday, April 7th.

A 45-50 minute discussion of this complex issue cannot do it justice, you are right about that. Possibly, an entire week could be devoted to the issue with multiple aspects then researched and discussed by different types of professionals in the dog world.

Oprah’s puppy mill report, much less how you knew I am
a writer who has Irish wolfhounds. Perhaps one of the
many cross-post permissions I was asked for and gave
thoughout much of today is the connection. Whatever,
I very much appreciate your kind words. Besides that,
you and I are certainly on the same page about Oprah’s
shows. Can we say tabloid journalism–at best?

I also want to note that the issues raised by Oprah’s
and her staff’s reporting are too complicated for a
one-hour show minus a lot of commercial time. I know
I could have been somewhat more nuanced myself, but
in my dealings with animal rightist interests, I’ve found,
regrettably, that one cannot afford to be nuanced. Give
so much as an inch and the animal rights hand will pull
one down into the quicksand of AR propaganda never
to emerge intact.

I like this website though, and am happy to have

Prolonged exposure also creates far more problems as is seen in many animals, though most would be more familiar with soldiers and PTSD. They are exposed to fear invoking situations for prolonged periods and their brain is unable to recover. The same thing has been observed in animals.

She trivially likens short term, anxiety inducing events with flooding a phobic animal. And equivocates when she compares coming upon a fear-causing situation and not letting the dog run unrestrained into possibly greater harm and forcefully taking a dog into its worst nightmare and cruelly standing there while the dog turns into a mass of nerves.

Miller’s stupidly compares flooding to a vet visit. There are many problems with this comparison, the first being is that the vet doesn’t kidnap your dog to his office. You take him there, so he can’t be blamed for “flooding” and cruelty as he puts it - it’s the owner. That’s why responsible, caring owners, train their animals to make the visit a pleasant experience.

“Human children are not responsible for all the serious bite wounds and human deaths caused by dogs each year. ”

If we check the stats, we see children are responsible for far more deaths than dogs, and children who grow up to be adults even more so - 17000 homicides. If you want to compare, then you can find parallels between the abusive methods of Millan and the abuse many of these criminal faced during their childhood.

As Leuscher mentions most of Millan’s explanations about behavior, social hierarchies are wrong. He basis his training on these misconceptions so it’s no wonder that his approach is so wrong-headed. Despite what Millan believes our dogs are not trying to dominate us and take over the world.

Anyways, I hope the post drums up some donations for Tomi and her puppies.

Scott has at least one arrest for assault and battery. Guess who he was battering? Patty Shields AKA Patty Shapiro.

These two are have a fraud and bankruptcy history going back 20 years. Neither one of them ever paid income tax, and now they are collecting SSI.

They will always be wards of the state, whether they are incarcerated or not. At least if they get some time, they can get their mental and physical health issues addressed. Scott will have a captive audience to tell his hero lies to. With his dressmaking skills he might become a poular guy in the joint.

I for one will be writing Jenna Dabbs to implore her to get these two the time they need. Please follow suit.
