Dr. Marty Becker (a real cutie!)

I met Marty Becker, veterinarian and writer, a few years back when I filmed him for our foundation’s documentary, Gotta Dance! I had exchanged many emails, but had only spoken with him a few times on the phone. Yet, I knew right away that we were in sync as to our passion about companion animals.

I must tell you the truth, though. I was not prepared for meeting him in person. It was just such a wonderful experience that I wanted to last so much longer than the few hours that we shared together. Dr. Becker is just so adorable. His entire being simply shouts out at you with good cheer, and I can understand why he is such a sought after motivational speaker.

Marty feels quite deeply about the human-animal connection which he terms ‘the bond’ and is filled with stories, anecdotes, and various research findings that he spouts out to solidify all the points that he delivers through his engaging tales.
