Lying all Along

This is a story about a man who has deceived many unsuspecting souls, a man who has used the tragedy of the attacks on the WTC to bring himself unearned attention, money & fame. When you can fool folks like Dr. Jane Goodall, it sure does show how we so want to believe that there are true heroes out there.

I am so sad to find out he was/is a fraud. I contacted Scott when you posted Bear died and I even sent him money. Whenever this sort of thing happens I can only believe-if I meet my creator tonight I can hold my head high and say I “cared” for others without questioning-If Scott meets his creator tonight I feel sorry for him. What a sad pathetic person he must be…

So sad to think a person like this can do so much destruction with his lies. I feel so sorry about Bear. I’m sure he thought his person was the best and he continued to do whatever was asked of him, not knowing, thank goodness, his part in the fraud. This precious dog certainly deserved a better owner. Your part in this only shows what a kind, caring person you are. Bless you.

Many of us have helped in horrendous situations with our dogs. Many of us that are on this site have awards, or have been honoured. But we are humble and have decency, we do not brag! We do the job and walk away with the feeling of satisfaction and pride in our dog and ourselves. Sometimes we walk away with tears in our eyes, as we couldn’t do enough. We do not deceive others into thinking we are something we are not. We love our dogs; we treat them well as they are our heroes. Without them we could not do the job. We commend others and seek no limelight for ourselves.
We are what you call decent human beings.

But I also feel sad.
Sad because if Scott had told the truth, had not exaggerated/lied about all these claims. He would have been praised and been seen as a good and decent man.
He could have trained Theo and really helped others.
He could have helped others with all the money he has gained via the foundation.
He could have accomplished so much.
He could have been humble.
.
That was and will be is downfall.
