Although I wish that the world was as simple and wonderful as that seen through the eyes of my beloved Golden Retrievers, my own adult reality paints a far different picture.
So, I’ve decided to have a place to rant or comment upon the many challenges that face us.
While opinions have a tendency to become heated or intense in nature, the Golden Rule (treat others as you want to be treated) will be the basic standard.

Wishing you and your husband all the good wishes I can. Darcy too. It is a shame this has to happen to anyone…2 legged or 4.
Sadly, it is happening to 1 in 3 people, as well as dogs. Unfortunately, it has taken much of my 2-legged family members and now my second Golden.
I too have suffered multiple losses to this dread disease. 30 years ago, my breeder spoke to a Golden Retriever authority about his dysplasia and he replied, even back then, that cancer was a far more serious problem. We can only hope that in time we will be able to better serve all living things by attaining the knowledge necessary to prevent and cure it.
My family also has been profoundly affected. Mother, Father, Grandfather, and some beloved 4-legged members. Also several of my very close friends. It’s wonderful that you have created the Foundation, Rochelle. It helps me to be able to contribute to the ultimate conquering of this devastating affliction.–>
